I have a “Pyxie” frog just like that one. I had him about 10 years now. He’s that big and when I come near he gets excited wanting a super meal worm. Actually they do quite well with insects.

2. They live on different continents.
3. They look completely different.

A 4 year old can definitely appreciate a giant bull frog but the question of responsible keeping comes into serious play with carirng for such frog. If you have credible knowledge on this specific specie and will be interacting with it with your son responsibly with your adult supervision then I encourage you to get one. all about responsible herping. and ni83co is right also, the animal’s well being must be given priority over entertainment. Both can be balanced
Did you guys noticed the well organized food trays and covers behind the girl talking? I think shes in a fast food place and they serve all these animals for food!
maybe you should need more information before buying a life animal. what are it habbits what enverement tose it need are the save whit childeren etc etc.If you dont have that you should not buy a life animal, If you no how to take care then you can always give it to your son next year or some outher special day

well. very interestion…. someone email me with some more info abot this tending loving beastly creature. I was planning to by my 4 year old son one of these for his birthday. I think it would be a GREAT gift for him. But theres a problem, we have new born kittens and I’m remotly scared that it will be gobbled up and aaten byt the bllfrog. So please, Oh please, someone emailing me about them or give me a litttle advice on this sitituation before time is up. 4The desision is in YOUR hands.
